The Island Spa, home to Ireland’s only Thalassotherapy Pool, is delighted to announce the launch of a new innovative Signature Treatment range that will battle the signs of ageing and cellulite and still leave you entirely pampered!!
Gold is the symbol for inner light, the sun and vital energy, while Diamonds are known to be the door to the terrestrial unknown. The healing and anti-aging properties of Diamond and Gold combined create a force that will stimulate and balance your skin, well-being, and remove toxins from the body with their healing abilities. This rejuvenating treatment begins with a cleansing and toning of the face followed by a rose-hip oil massage to the neck, décolletage and shoulders. Dead facial skin will then be removed with an exfoliator followed by a Precious Oil Mask containing gold flakes. As the mask releases its anti-ageing properties you will be pampered with a revitalising hand and arm treatment beginning with a massage of the forearm and hands, the Precious Oil Mask is then applied to the back of the hands where ageing appears. The face mask is then removed and the pure anti-ageing extract oil is applied with pinching techniques to improve tone, absorption and elasticity. Following this the hand mask is removed and you will enjoy a luxurious scalp massage and before completing the treatment with youth moisturiser applied to the face, décolletage and hands.
Remove cellulite, toxins and smooth your skin with this total detox treatment. Beginning with a sea salt exfoliation on the bottom and back of the thighs, followed by an anti-cellulite mask during which you will enjoy a pressure point massage to the soles of the feet, this treatment will ensure that all toxins are removed from your body. The tummy and front of the thighs is then exfoliated with the sea salt scrub and the anti-cellulite mask is applied again. While the mask removes further toxins you will be pampered with a relaxing scalp massage followed by a lymphatic drainage massage on problem areas leaving your skin silky smooth and your body completely detoxed.

On Saturday the 8th and Sunday, 9th March, as spring gets fully underway, the multiple award-winning Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa invites couples across Ireland to turn their dreams into reality as it hosts its Style and Wedding Showcase.
Saturday the 8th March, we welcome stylist and celebrity Celia Holman Lee to the hotel, where she will host a Style Evening. Celia will offer invaluable advice on what to wear and more importantly what not to wear, whether you are the Bride, the Mother of the Bride / Groom or a Wedding Guest. Fashion & Styles from local boutiques will complement the evening as Celia shares her knowledge and experience. Tickets are €20 and are available from Reception.
Our Grooms Zone will ensure the boys are looked after too. While the ladies enjoy an evening with Celia, our Grooms to be are invited to a complimentary consultation with our Menswear Expert who will offer advice, showcase trends and styles and offer the groom the opportunity to try on various options for the big day.
On Sunday the 9th March, the Wedding Showcase will allow couples to meet with key personnel from the hotel during the afternoon to answer any questions you might have, to help take the stress out of the planning and assist you with compiling those typically all-consuming checklists. There is a host of new and fun ways to make your wedding day even more special at Inchydoney with retro style sweet tables, kitsch mini hotdogs and burgers for evening supper and barbeques on the balcony overlooking the beaches.

On Saturday, 15th June at 3pm, Pitmaster Mike Corcoran will bring his famous BBQ masterclass to the stunning surroundings of Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa, where guests will enjoy ‘grilltastic’ dishes made by the main man himself! During the lively group demonstration, Mike will cook up a storm with all-time ‘manly’ meals; steaks, burgers, pulled pork and ribs and share his top techniques of cooking with charcoal, gas and smoking with hardwood. Chicago native Mike picked up grill skills in the States before moving to his ancestral home of Cork, where he has become a local hero with his sought-after demonstrations. Mike is also well-known throughout Ireland and the UK for his authentic American BBQ products, including Pitmaster Mike’s BBQ Sauce and BBQ Spice Rub, of which guests will relish on their meaty treats!
Taking place on the weekend of 14th – 16th June, the ‘Thrill of the Grill’ Father’s Day package is available for both men and women to enjoy from €230 (Friday & Saturday) and €220 (Saturday & Sunday) per person sharing. Guests will enjoy two nights’ accommodation in a deluxe ocean view room, a BBQ masterclass and tasting session with Mike Corcoran and a full Irish buffet breakfast each morning.
